Conversation with Alexis Jenni

Following his visit at the Edinburgh Book Festival, Goncourt winner Alexis Jenni will pay the Institut français d'Écosse a visit for an informal conversation in French.
Jenni will be discussing his fascinating novel The French Art of War (L'Art français de la guerre), exploring the legacy of French colonial wars in Algeria and Indochina.
His much-acclaimed work has been described as ‘a song, bathed in blood and fighting’ and fuels France’s current debate about national identity.
