The cinema programme at the Institut français d'Ecosse screens a new film every Wednesday at 2:00pm and 6:45pm. These events are free, but for members only. We invite you to book early and if you are not yet a member of the Institut français d'Ecosse, we invite you to join. Our film this week is the documentary M.
Synopsis:
“M”, short for Menahem, was a child prodigy with a golden voice, abused by certain members of the same community that adored him. Fifteen years later he returns to the scene of the crime: Bnei Brak, the world capital of ultra-Orthodox Jews. It is also the return to a world he loved so much and a journey of reconciliation where words unspoken are finally set free.
