During the week of Francophonie (17-25 march), the French Institute is proud to collaborate with the University of Edinburgh and Wallonie - Bruxelles International to bring a fascinating look at the French language in Belgium. Dr Isabelle Moreels of the University of Extremadura gives a presentation on linguistic variations of French in Belgium. Going beyond accents and vocabulary, Moreels demonstrates how these variations reveal a unique and métissée linguistic identity.
