Ciné-récré is our cinéma programme for younger children and their families. We’ll be screening a family-friendly film one Friday a month at 2:00pm (exact dates forthcoming). These events are free, but for members only. We invite you to book early and if you are not yet a member of the Institut français d'Ecosse, we invite you to join. For our first Ciné-récré of the 2018-2019 season, we will be screening Le Grand méchant renard et autres contes … by Benjamin Renner and Patrick Imbert (2016, 1h19min).
Synopsis:
Those who think that the countryside is a calm and peaceful place are mistaken, for it is full of particularly agitated animals: a Fox who thinks he’s a hen, a Rabbit who acts like a stork, and a Duck who wants to take over for Santa Claus. If you want to take some holiday, best to go elsewhere…
