As part of our World War I centenary programme, and in collaboration with Edinburgh Napier University, the Institut français d'Ecosse will be hosting a concert and multimedia event on November 11th, 2018, followed by a two-week-long photo exhibition.
Play for Peace: A Concert for Cooperation is a global concert which will show that, one hundred years on, since the end of World War One, creativity, cooperation and peace will conquer conflict.
All Along the Western Front is a video installation and accompanying photo exhibition by filmmaker Oscar Van Heek, which will use live World War I ammunition, alongisde a series of ephemeral landscapes depicting the ‘scarred’ countryside of the the First World War.
This event is delivered as a coproduction with Edinburgh Napier University
