The cinéma programme at the Institut français d'Ecosse screens a new film every Wednesday at 2:00pm and 6:45pm. These events are free, but for members only. We invite you to book early and if you are not yet a member of the Institut français d'Ecosse, we invite you to join. Our film this week is 21 nuits avec Pattie by Arnaud et Jean-Marie Larrieu.
Synopsis:
Caroline goes to a village in the south of France where she must organise the funeral of her mother, with whom she has had little contact. Upon her arrival, she is welcomed by Pattie, who changes her lovers faster than she changes her mind. A guest in Pattie’s home, Caroline must listen to Pattie’s stories of her sexual experiences with the men of the village. Just as the entire region is preparing for the much awaited August 15th holiday, Caroline discovers that her mother’s body has disappeared…
Starring Karin Viard, Isabelle Carré, André Dussollier
