Cinéma : Le Brio

The cinéma programme at the Institut français d'Ecosse screens a new film every Wednesday at 2:00pm and 6:45pm. These events are free, but for members only. We invite you to book early and if you are not yet a member of the Institut français d'Ecosse, we invite you to join. Our film this week is Le Brio by Yvan Attal.

Synopsis
Neïla Salah grew up in Créteil and dreams to become a lawyer. Enroled in the prestigious Assas University in Paris, she confronts a teacher on her very first day of study: Pierre Mazard, who is known for his provocations and misconduct. In order to clean up his act, he decides to help Neïla get ready for the famous eloquence contest. Both cynical and demanding, Pierre could become the mentor she needs to succeed… However, both still need to overcome their prejudices.

Starring Camélia Jordana, Daniel Auteuil.
