Ciné-récré : Ernest et Célestine en Hiver

Ciné-récré is our cinéma programme for younger children and their families. We will be screening a family-friendly film one Friday a month at 2:00pm (exact dates forthcoming). These events are free, but for members only. We invite you to book early and if you are not yet a member of the Institut français d'Ecosse, we invite you to join.

For our May ciné-récré, we will be screening Ernest et Célestine en Hiver (dir. Julien Cheng, Jean-Christophe Roger | 2017 | 45min)

Synopsis:
Ernest is a big bear from Charabie. He likes playing music and eating marmalade. He lives with Celestine, a little orphan mouse, and they share his house. Our two friends never get bored! When the first snowflakes start to fall they need to prepare for Ernest’s hibernation: they must take care of Bibi, their wild goose, who will fly away before the big winter, prepare cakes for Ernest and go to the mice’s ball to celebrate the first day of winter.
