The cinema programme at the Institut français d'Ecosse screens a new film every Wednesday at 2:00pm and 6:45pm. These events are free, but for members only. We invite you to book early and if you are not yet a member of the Institut français d'Ecosse, to join our Membership programme.

All our « regular » cinema screenings take place on Wednesdays, at 2.00pm and 6.45pm in the Emilienne Moreau-Evrard room (1st floor). Films in French with English subtitles.
From September 2019, the Institut français d'Ecosse will proudly be hosting screenings of German films in partnership with the Goethe Institut in Glasgow. Screening in German with English subtitles.
In October and November 2019, the Institut français d'Ecosse will be screening 4 films of the film Greek-French director Costa-Gavras. Films in French with English subtitles.
CINE-RECRE, the cinema programme for Kids and Teens at the Institut français d'Ecosse, screens a new film once a month on a Friday at 2:00pm.
