Stéphanie Trouillard is a French journalist currently working at France 24. She is specialised in the memory of the first and second World Wars. She will present her book, Mon oncle de l'ombre - Enquête sur un maquisard breton (Skol Vreizh, 2018), dedicated to the life of her great uncle, a member of the French Resistance who died in 1944.

12 juillet 1944. Des rafales de mitraillettes brisent le silence de l'aube dans une ferme du Morbihan. André Gondet, 23 ans, s'écroule sous les balles au milieu de ses camarades résistants. Ce sanglant épisode marque les habitants des environs au fer rouge. Dans la famille Gondet, la douleur serre la gorge et scelle les lèvres. La souffrance est aussi vive que silencieuse. Soixante-dix ans plus tard, André n'est plus qu'un nom sur un monument aux morts.

De lui, il reste seulement un portrait dans un vieux cadre accroché sur un mur de la maison familiale. Une photo qui finit par attirer le regard et la curiosité de l'une de ses petites nièces. Qui était cet homme dont son grand père ne prononçait pas le nom ? Quel était son combat ? Par quoi était-il animé ?
