Summary of Workshop:
In this course on writing for a magazine you will be introduced to the art of writing theatre criticism as an analysis of a theatre production, taking into account the aesthetic rules drama must follow, as well as your own personality and the cultural context in which you live (your era, your national identity, your value system). This approach is laterally applicable to other forms of criticism: film criticism, literary criticism, dance criticism, art criticism, and criticism of the sort of open-ended performances you often see in art galleries and museums. In this brief workshop, you will start to discover how exciting it is to see, interpret, analyze, and write about the arts.
