The cinema programme at the Institut français d'Ecosse screens a new film every Wednesday at 2:00pm and 6:45pm. These events are free, but for members only. We invite you to book early and if you are not yet a member of the Institut français d'Ecosse, we invite you to join. Our film this week is Il se passe quelque chose by Anne Alix.
Synopsis:
Avignon. Irma, who no longer finds her place in the world, meets Dolores, a free and uninhibited woman missioned to write a gay-friendly tour guide on a forgotten corner of Provence. The improbable duo goes on the road together. Instead of picturesque and sexy Provence, they discover a more complex world and a warm humanity that struggles to exist. For each of them, it is an initiatory journey.
Starring Lola Dueñas, Bojena Horackova, Serge Geairain
